State Budget Execution, January-May, 2025

„2025 State Budget Execution in January-May Review" - Prepared by Parliamentary Budget Office of Georgia based on the information provided by Treasury Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia “About Total revenues, Total expenditures, net change in the stock of cash and net lending/net borrowing balance of the state budget of Georgia for January-May 2025".

In January-May2025:

  • State Budget total revenues amounted to 11,133.4 million GEL, which is 84.2% of the 6-month plan and 40.4% of the annual plan;
  • The main share of total revenues, 79.8% comes from the tax revenues, that have increased in point of nominal expression compared to 2023-2024, as to its share in total revenues this indicator has increased compared to the same indicator of 2023 year, whereas, the noted indicator has decreased compared to 2024 year;
  • State Budget total expenditures amounted to 10,545.8 million GEL, which is 77.2% of the 6-month plan and 37.7% of the annual plan;
  • The main share, 82.2% is formed from expenses, that have increased in point of nominal expression, as well as its share in total expenditures compared to 2023-2024;
  • The net accumulation in the stock of cash amounted to 587.6 million GEL and the State Budget balance was defined at 1,973.9 million GEL by June the 1st of 2025.
